I hope it's a matter of time before Steem has its own sports betting exchange. I fear if it ever gets to that it will have too big of a commission though. I just discovered the chiliz project today. Even though it's nothing I personally would use, how the project is being run makes scorum look like a bunch of amateurs though. I'm looking forward to seeing how it all plays out the next couple of years.
But you are a pro. You and some of us in betting are calculating odds and only take the best. If they can start a betting service in steemit with similar odds as Pinnacle (or bet365) I think people will play. People doesnt care about the edge so often - Just to see when people playing craps where the odds is ugly bad in some bet- but peoplte take them anyway

May of us sports bettors are already in. Me, fullcoverbetting, beat-the-bookies. stimp1024, barbadosso, deniskj.
We currently already have 33300 DEC invested in the guild and are closing in on level 3 guild hall and level 2 on the quest lodge which will give a +2% on all dec earnings. We are looking into the minimum requirements so everyone contributes a little bit so we grow steadily. This is what they currently look like (not final yet)
