in #money7 years ago (edited)

We are now at the fourth of the Wealth Files series from the book of T. Harv Eker, The Secrets of the Millionaire Mind". These Wealth files ,will tackle all the wrong and negative thoughts that we have about money, or having big amount of money.

Rich People Think Big, Poor People Think Small

The Law of Attraction states that;

You will be paid in direct proportion to the value you deliver in the marketplace.

So what does this mean in relation to the fourth wealth files ? The keyword here is Value. What value you give to the marketplace will tell you how much you are worth. Let's take for instance a store owner versus a supermarket. A store owner gives value to the people around the village or nearby villages. On the other hand, a supermarket gives value to the people of five or more villages or even town or cities. Is there a difference between the income of the store owner and the owner of the supermarket? I definitely believe that there is a huge difference. Do you think they invest the same amount of time? Probably yes, the only difference is that the supermarket owner has more leverage, in the sense that there are many people who contribute for the same time that the store owner does.

Most people play it small because of so many factors, mainly it's FEAR. We always think of failing in any endeavor. It has been instilled in our system that failing is a No No! I just only realized that Failure is an integral part of success. No successful person has climbed up the ladder without failing once. More often than not, they failed hard several times, they just didn't quit. You see, even before we start something, we already thought about it's ending and mostly it ends tragically in our mind. The very reason that we didn't get to start anything.

Second people play it small because theyLack of Self Confidence. They feel they are unworthy of any success. They do not feel good enough, neither they think they can bring value to other people's lives. We are all been given the talent, each one is different from the other that makes us so unique. We only need to learn to hone that talent of ours and monetize it.

At any rate, we need to give value to other people. We may be an employee, but still we give value to the company that we work for. But since, our value stretch only for a company, its equivalent is as much as the size of the value we give. So it is for us to decide how much we want to have in terms of monetary remuneration, then compensate that with equal or more value.

Have you noticed that most rich people are entrepreneurs? It is because they solve people's problems for a profit. They are "Problem Solvers". Imagine if these entrepreneurs have solved a thousand of people's problems? How about a hundred thousands or millions? One story that I think would best describe this value is Howard Schultz, the owner of the famous STARBUCKS Coffee. It's tremendous growth is credited to Schultz, because of his vision to impart to many people a good coffee experience, not only with their famous recipes, but his astonishment with Italian cafe as a place for meetings and social gatherings, thus STARBUCKS has been born. His vision to give this kind of value to many more people driven him to open his own coffee shop and later on bought STARBUCKS COFFEE from it's original owners. Now there are thousands of STARBUCKS COFFEE around the world. And probably you have been wondering how much is Howard Schultz worth? Well, your guess is as good as mine. From a Sales Manager to a Billionaire, Howard Schultz, is the one of best example of giving value to the marketplace.

Are you holding off on your dream because you fear of loosing? To become Rich is having to take big risks, and unless one takes the plunge we wouldn't know what would have been. Spread your wings and FLY and remember the more value you give, the richer you become.
