Minnowbooster is trying out a smaller send again
Hey there, @reggaemuffin here with a quick update.
We want to stay true to our name and support "minnows". Requiring 5 SBD per vote is the opposite of empowering minnows. So while we are working on a solution that will fix this problem once and for all, we will do some temporary changes.
You can now send minimum 2 SBD up to 3 times per day (up to a total of 6 SBD). You can however send all 6 SBD at once. We have also amended the weekly limit to 20 SBD.
Please understand that Steem behaves weirdly in the low voting % areas and we may have to change these values on short notice.
We are recommending this browser addon which has a boost button added to every post you visit, immediately next to the promote button.

A 1% upvote is worth $3.49 no $2 like we display.
Yes, I guess we knew this from bit long time. I even made article (not good but yeah whatever) about this, minnowbooster gives better ROI at low value up votes hehe!
It is really tricky to navigate in the low % areas of steem voting. But we are working on a revolutionary system to solve this :)
How to use this service to vote on posts?

@minnowbooster and @reggaemuffin 3SBD vote accrues 2.2% (e.g. 37m agominnowbooster (2.2%) upvote incredible-lucid-dream-with-apple-in-diner) vote which is $165x0.022=$3.63, if curation 25% is counted that is $2.9, that is a loss for user. Can you care to explain please?

I understand the policy, if it is to discourage to users to recover some VP thats fine.
However, I would appreciate the old 1SBD vote is restored. 5, 3 even 2 SBD is hard for minnows.
We are working on it. We tested it out yesterday and our vote was still too high

First time I went in the minus with minnowbooster. Paid$ 3 and got $3,18. For a long time I could pay $5 and get over $8!
But I suppose it was too good to last :)
All of these voting services start off great and get less and less worthwhile as they get more popular.
So is there still a bug in the vote calculations? The reply said it was 4.46, but it was only 3.87.
Nuttin' but love, still a profit, just wanted to hear as it factors in when 25% curation is coming out.
