Volunteers Appreciation Meet 2019
It's almost the end of the year and there is lots happening around. The yearly events are all coming up back to back. One such event of our's is the Volunteers Appreciation Meet. This is a meet to honor and appreciate all the volunteers who work at the Cancer hospital with the children giving their time, energy and talent. This is organized by our own team internally, for a thanksgiving to all those who compassionately work towards this cause. Our group BASMA is in existence since last 2 years and our aim is to give our best talent in service of these children.
There is no expectation in return, all that we want are the happy faces of these little Angels. There are volunteers from age of 15 till the age of 60+, when you hold the flame of service within you nothing matters, no age, no language, no community. All the volunteers enthusiastically participate and gives excellent service from their side, which makes our group very special.
The lady in white is Rebecca, the pioneer of this group. A wonderful person to interact with. Has so much zeal in her and always keeps all of us motivated with her energetic presence.
It's truly marvelous to see how people from all different background and culture all come up together for a common cause

We had Tea / Coffee and some refreshments arrangement made for the group. We are a total of almost 80 volunteers, but for this meet around 50% turned up.
A glimpse of our activity at the hospital
There is so much in life that we can be grateful for and most of us are so privileged to have the life we are living. These moments that we live meaningfully are truly enriching for the soul. It does not matter how much you can do, but the more important is the zeal to do it and making life meaningful. Everyday routine affairs keep happening, but one needs to remove some time to serve the society in whatever way it is possible. Giving a little time of ours and bringing a smile to someone's face is the most happiest and divine feeling one can experience.
