Meet my band - Forgotten Scream
Hi, long time no see!
I wrote my introductory post long time ago, 2 whole years ago!
Lots of stuff happened in that period of time, some of which I am going to talk about now, some in a future post.
In the introductory post, I promised you some music, and now I deliver.
Please, meet my new band, Forgotten Scream!
Forgotten Scream is a melodic death/metalcore band from Zrenjanin, Serbia. It is influenced by bands such as In Flames, Dethklok, Metallica, Gojira, Bullet For My Valentine, Trivium and many other metal and non-metal bands.
We are completely a DIY band. Everything we do, we do by using the combined skills of all band members. Song writing, recording, mastering, video recording, video editing, graphic design, web development, memes (yes, memes*) photography, driving, you name it.
Our primary goal is to make music that people will enjoy and remember. We put a lot of time and love in what we do.
Our music style characterizes extensive use of guitar melodies and harmonies with fast and heavy riffing and drumming, alongside the harsh or deep growling vocals, sometimes clean and melodic as well.
I joined this band as a bass guitarist. I had to switch to bass from the guitar that I play for more than a decade. Felt like starting all over again!
I march 2017 we released our first album called "Changes". You can listen an entire album for free on our official youtube channel, or here:
Few months earlier we released a lyrics video for the song "Empy Veins":
Earlier this year we did a video cover of a song "My last serenade" by Killswitch Engage.
