Taking Mene For a Walk With: 24 karat Gold Brushed Ring

Ready for an epic fail??

Today I decided to try and combine my Taking Mene For a Walk series with going to Costco.

I reasoned that today would not be about searching for gold but instead just getting some good shots of my 24 karat gold Mene Brushed Ring.

Somehow I figured it would be better to wear the ring around my neck instead of just putting it on my finger for pictures.

Boy was I wrong.

I ended up getting some atrocious pictures which you can all have the displeasure of seeing!

Lets start with how the ring actually looks like:

Now lets look at my horrible pics from today!

As I entered Costco I had high hopes from some great pictures :

My confidence started to waver as I awkwardly tried to fit the phone between the ring and my phone. This was supposed to be a tribute to GMD and GLD. ( https://steemit.com/dog/@goldmatters/a-message-from-the-goldmoney-dog-and-the-gold-loving-dog-gld )

By this picture I realized this totally wasnt going to work. This was supposed to be a clever photo of Pirate Booty:

But I have never let a little adversity stop me and pressed forward! I found gold even though I was supposed to not be looking:

I had grand plans to talk about Real Money here:

Not sure what I was thinking here other than maybe I wanted some chocolate:

I threw in the towel trying to weirdly lean my neck back and putting the ring forward while looking like a total weirdo and switched to looking like a weirdo taking photos of the crowd:

But it all paid off when I noticed this Mene charm fan!!!

Remind anyone of anything???
