Question about 24 Karat jewelry - isn't it soft and in danger of having particles rub off? Isn't that why 22 karat jewelry was invented, to harden it so gold wasn't lost through wear and tear?

Great question! It depends what your personal interpretation of what ‘soft’ means. Yes 24 karat jewelry is softer than other metals, but to me it does not qualify as soft when im holding it in my hand. It is possible to have wear and tear.... just like anything else. The good news is that you can always sell your jewelry back to mene (-10%). So if after 5 or 10 years (or any length of time) your taste changed or you wanted to get something new you can fairly easily. Here is some information on product care : https://mene.com/care .
