Sndbox’s New Homebase [Steemit Meetups + Workshops @ 100 Bogart in Brooklyn, NY]

If you saw our post from earlier this week (our latest meetup) you probably thought to yourself - where is that awesome space that they’re presenting out of?
The Answer? 100 Bogart!
New York’s very first STEEM-friendly coworking space that supports ongoing Steemit workshops, events and activities!
100 Bogart is a brand-new coworking office in East Williamsburg that opened its doors in mid-August. We were working out of an office just a few blocks north of them and when we first heard of their grand appearance, and immediately got in touch to see if we could access / help program some of their unique spaces. Through 5 stories, they maintain a storefront gallery space and a rooftop for public events. We initially wanted to work with them just for on an event-basis but we were immediately wowed and attracted to all their amenities. Sndbox has been officially working out of this building since early September.
Innovation Central of NYC, Integrating Steemit
East Williamsburg is a curious nexus of New York City’s creative energies. Sandwiched between the now heavily gentrified Williamsburg and the historically art-oriented Bushwick, the area is packed with artist studios, startup offices, pop-up restaurants and other unique programs in a combination that is hard to find in other parts of the city. 100 Bogart is one of the latest additions to the community and is trying to capture the collective energy into one building.
We’ve been striving to plan and host as many Steemit-centric activities as we can within this great space. Nick, the founder and CEO, is very open-minded and wants to support us in any way he can. Our latest meetup event was a great start to a exciting collaboration moving forward.
Future plans include frequent Steemit NYC meetups, a Steemit art-incorporated show, various STEEM-powered presentations and workshops, and other strategies of really incorporating Steemit and its community into the space.

I most definitely will! Trips this year haven't been as plentiful as I'd like but hopefully I'll make it there before the end of the year.
