Together with my wife, we spent our weekend in Cebu City due to the invitation of fellow Steemian @fernwehninja to help her explain steemit to his friends in Cebu. Together with her is another Steemian @itinerantph who help in facilitating the event
Due to my interest and excitement, I accepted her invitation and went to visit them. We meet at JY Square located in Lahug. It was our first time seeing with each other but I noticed her first because she was wearing a white t-shirt with the logo of steemit.
It was just a simple and informal conversation and everybody was so excited especially when I mentioned to them my experiences in the platform. They will be joining the community and I think they are now waiting for the confirmations.
Thank you guys for such a great time and for being so nice. Even if I'm not a good speaker you still listen :)

Awesome stuff , brother! That meeting seems like you guys had a lot of fun! Man, Steemit is currently doing a tour of the globe right now. All these different cities holding gatherings for Steemian's.

We have another meetup and steemit promotion this coming July 9 at the same place and hopefully this time with a larger audience. I will make a post for that event to at least gain support from the community.
Spreading steemit to the world! Went out to see some friends tonight, I don't think I can talk to people without telling them all about steemit now :) I definitely gained the interest of a couple people.
