First Florida Steem Meetup is Tomorrow!
Will you join us in Sarasota, Florida on August 10, 2017 for the first Steem meetup in the USA from 11 am to 3 pm? We are expecting 10 or 20 of us!

Food will be provided in the form of fresh fruits, vegetables, humus, Triscuits, nuts, and peanut butter! In other words, whole plant based foods for maximum nutrition. Water and green matcha tea will be provided as beverages.

I was just telling an environmentalist friend of mine that they need to get on steemit. Another that is involved in organic farming. OMG. Totally can't hear me. NEEDS to be on this platform. The organic farmer is importing ancient breeds of chickens and breeding them. Free from all dna tinkering kind of chickens. Then she feeds them with ancient grains to insure they are pure from all chemicals and altered food.
I hope people read this comment and can realize/hear what I am saying here.
And, in my opinion, how steemit NEEDS to be part of that. I hope you agree.
It's funny, actually, how people can't hear this yet. They say they are "so busy". Or, "Can't add more stuff to my day". But when they talk about their efforts, it seems like the tiny bubble they are in can be an inspiration to millions of people over time. Well worth the time and effort.
AND... at the same time, they take pictures, document everything, have records of the birds, the contracts they make with the local farmers, all the schedules, etc. I say, GET THAT STUFF INTO THE BLOCKCHAIN BABY. Steemit is a very easy way to do that. I am determined to get more of these types of people on board.
Please follow me everybody! We are gonna make a huge impact together! Those chickens will at the very least be showing up on my feed for sure.
Now it's your turn precious readers: Go out and find people doing this kind of stuff in your area - and GET THEM ON THIS PLATFORM.
If they won't do it, can't see the value or otherwise can't hear you... YOU can still create a post about what they are doing. Organic eggs anyone?
