First videos and photos from the Steemit Ibadan Meetup/Workshop, held 18th November 2017. |The over 10hours trip to the city for this just started to look real and exciting and I have some exciting first videos and pictures before the main event

in #meetup7 years ago (edited)

So it is 18th and I am at the University of Ibadan for the meetup as organized by the Steemit community in Ibadan headed by @tojukaka and his amazing team of @japfive, @kaybarbs, @jeaniepearl, @thelovejunkie and @optimistdehinde.

The first video is of myself and @japfive walking from the main gate into the school premises and I sure took some photos to show you, including one of a nice old dude with his wife, son and their dog.

Showtime..

@ejemai. Waoh! Even the way you went about this write up is a lesson. It was really an honor meeting with you on that day. I never knew it was going to come so soon and thank God the meet up was a success with you around. I can say Nigeria is really blessed having someone like you on this platform. I will always celebrate that fact. Thanks for honoring our invitation.
Really looking forward to the accelerator hub you talked about. That would be another ground breaking event for all steemians in Ibadan and its environ. God bless you bro.

God bless you too my broda and i am happy meeting all you wonderful people. I am blessed everyday knowing there are amazing people like yourselves out there and that we never need to walk alone. The Hub will happen and we are right now working to get it done!

Mr @ejemai it was such an honour meeting you yesterday. Thanks for the so many sacrifices you do for our beloved PlanetSteem. You are such a handful. By the way, I like your sense of humour 🙌🙌✌

My doc, thank you for being awesome and preaching love. Love is one of the reasons why I am still on PlanetSteem. Lol, I use humour to mask the shyness.

It was an honour having you

It was and still is meeting you. Thanks for doing a wonderful job and for that Steeming hospitality.

Quite a great job @ejemai, that is the best school in Nigeria, University of Ibadan. Keep the vision steemit burning.

Thank you. UI is indeed one of the best in Nigeria and it still has its prestige and effect.
