Meetup #23 - Steemit 100 Degrees Introduction | Old Town White Coffee Supper

Yesterday, there is super heavy downpour right in the city centre of Kuala Lumpur with lightning striking everywhere, thunder rolling loudly and approaching the peak hour traffic, is like the perfect recipe to start the KL worst traffic jam 😅.

@joannewong, @elizacheng and I went out around 6.30PM to fight the jam to reach Sunway Geo Avenue which is about a distance of 25km but it took us about 1 hour 20 minutes to reach there.

Finally,​ we arrived at Sunway Geo Avenue at 7.50PM, parking was free after 6 PM​ entry and empty parking are​ everywhere which is very good for us 😂.The venue for today's event is at TalentBank which is fully sponsored by Ben & Jyesmine, as they are the owners of the workspace.

Mingling around before the event started

Quite a lot of the seasoned Steemians member like, @bitrocker2020, @zord189, @karinzdailygrind, @khimgoh, @deborism, @jikey, @kaerpediem, @tifaong, @williamsyee, are here to support the event and @maverickfoo as well. The ratio of steemians to non-steemians is relatively more on this event 😅.

Every event that @maverickfoo does, he doesn't seems to fail in making the crowd laugh with his jokes and explain it in super layman term that everyone could understand it well. While he's doing his talk in front, the rest of the senior is doing what we are best at, WEFIE! at the back

After finishing the event, the new comers have some mingle with the seniors for more in depth question and experience about the platform but it's getting late and @maverickfoo has to use his signature Fuck Off way of getting people out from the premise as Yjesmine needs to close it down.

Supper at Old Town White Coffee

We went down to have our late dinner or supper whichever you name it at Old Town White Coffee as all the mamak are closed surprisingly early.

Ordering food is a bit hard in front of @maverickfoo as his jokes are coming non-stop and we practically laughing all the way down, which took us more than 5 minutes to get the order up.

He's been matchmaking for Austin and Olive since the event and continuing here, which you can read more about it at his post. We been chit chatting about it, laughing non-stop on various jokes and best of all spending the time to bond our friendship 😉.
