Do u know how fracture heal???????just go through it..U will find amazing!!!!!
It is thought that, during fracture the affected part should be immobilised. It is in fact required, but strict immobilisation may have deleterious outcomes. The basic mechanism for fracture healing under close reduction is by CALLUS formation. For callus to form 'stress' is required over that affected part.According to Wolf's law, bone growth and development is direct proportional to the stress applied. So for fracture healing to occur stress is required. These stress at fracture can be developed by mobilisation, but to limited degree only. The appropriate mobilisation stimulates bone resorption and remodelling by increasing osteoblastic and osteoclastic activities. This will add up a major to callus formation.Once callus is formed, fracture healing occurs simultaneously onwards.
