MARRIAGE CAN WORK. LET'S MAKE IT SO

Reflecting about marriage, I am sitting right here with my wife as we reminisce about the journey of marriage so far. Taking stock we can say so far so good at least to you all. But there are certain things we must know that will help out in every marriage.
They include but not limited to the following ;
Every human has a weakness, this translate to marriage, the person you married is not a saint, he/she has his/her point of not do well. To succeed focus on his strength and give a blind eye to any known weakness
We all have past lives that are perhaps ugly. Forget the past and concentrate to make your marriage work. Let your focus be in the present and future.
All marriages are not the same. The level of success and failure differs, so stop comparing your marriage to others.
There is no perfect marriage, all marriages have their own specific problem or challenge. Work together to come out of your trying times. Marriage is sacrificial and require commitment from both spouses.
There are enemies of marriage you must be ready to fight and overcome for your marriage to work. They are; Unforgiveness , lack of prayer, stubbornness, in-law influence, cheating, disrespect etc.
Marriage involves two incomplete persons, God gives you the person in the form of raw materials in order for you to bring out the best and make the person that you desire, you need love, patience and work to achieve your desired spouse and desired home.
In marriage, be ready always to make adjustments because things will change, the love will come low, conditions will change, so leave room for adjustments. Husband can lose his good job or you may fail to have babies.
All these require you to be prayerful else you might divorce.
Marriage is a give and take, if you put in love, Peace Joy, so you will get. If you put in quarrelling and fighting, that you get.
Marriage is permanent, work to make it work and it will work.
