LET'S GO SHOPPING TODAY AT BANTAMA MARKET
Thank God it's Friday. Today is another beautiful day and a market Friday as well. This is my first entry to the market Friday by @diswigle, and I will be submitting my entry every Friday of the subsequent weeks.
Today I am taking you Bantama market in Ghana. Bantama is the capital town of Kumasi. Bantama market is located at Suntreso road. It is a very big one and a lot of food stuffs are being sold there, both local and foreign. Some of these foodstuffs are tomatoes, pepper and other vegetables, fruits, yam, meat, fish, plantain, eggs and a whole lot. Many people come to buy and sell in the market.
Let's take a look at some of the pictures during the market session today.
Fresh tomatoes are being sold here at this part of the market
You can also get some fresh tubers of yam which are rich in carbohydrate for sufficient energy production
This is also made of flour and it is fried in oil. It's very delicious.
You can also find this local kenkey here which is made of maize and wrapped with dried plantain leaves. Also very rich in carbohydrate.
Some shoes and other footwear are also being sold in the market at affordable prices.
