Shopping Around Quebec City // Jalan-Jalan Yuk
Taking a break from dTube as today is #marketfriday time!

Back in May, some friends and I went sight seeing in Quebec City. Although it was not really sunny, a bit cloudy, and somewhat wet, we had tremendous time checking out most of the galleries and stores available
If you have been to Europe, Quebec City is similar to most European places, with cobblestones, cobble walls, stores in small alleys, etc. Needless to say though, the city is set up as tourist main attraction, where one could just browse around on foot, admiring the arts and crafts offered everywhere, restaurants and souvenirs places, and picture-perfect spots.
Street performances are to be found almost at every corner as well, but a spot that you should not miss is the painter area. So many wonderful drawings and paintings of Quebec City, Quebec, France, and a couple of the artists would also offer for speed drawing of your face and whatnot.
One of my friends that came along is in fur business (from China), and as you may or may not know, fur trade was once Quebec's main industry, where the European descendants (French, Dutch, Brit) traded fur with the Natives, so many of the stores at Quebec City offer fur products, like bags, purse, etc - we made a stop at one, as my friend wanted to speak to the store owner and see if they can do some business together.
Going to Quebec City is definitely a must if you are in the province! So many interesting nick-nack to see, wonderful sweets and cuisines to try, and lovely surroudings, which I should mention, pretty historic, to check out.
Istirahat dulu ah bikin dTube, habis ga seru banget. Orang lain unggah video ecek-ecek dapat vote buesar-buesar, kita yang bikin video lumayan dibuat bagus, blas ga kecipratan, yang ada malah dipotong 25%, tape deh. Haiyaaaah...

Untuk #marketfriday kali ini, yuk ikut aku jalan-jalan ke Quebec City
Bulan Mei kemarin dulu, aku dan beberapa teman-teman, jalan-jalan ke Quebec City, nama kotanya emang memakai "City" hehe. Quebec City merupakan ibu kota provinsi Quebec, di Kanada.
Quebec City merupakan salah satu kota kuno di Kanada, dan masyarakatnya mayoritas turunan bangsa Perancis, jadi bahasa Inggris jaraaaaaaang banget dipakai di kota ini. Karena kota ini dibangun anak-pinak turunan bangsa Perancis, tata kotanya mirip banget dengan kota-kota di Eropa, seperti bangunan dan jalanan, yaitu berbatu-batu (batu kerikil tertentu, batu pipih, dll).
Quebec City memang ditata untuk turis, jadinya yah rata-rata bangunan/rumah-rumah yang ada, merupakan toko. Kanan toko, kiri toko, depan toko, belakang toko, atas toko, bawah toko, balik badan 360 derajat, toko semua dah. Hahahaha
Mau toko baju? Ada
Mau toko khusus kado/hadiah? Ada
Suka yang manis-manis? Banyaaak
Beragam galeri buat artis, baik artis melukis, menggambar, menghias, mengukir, memahat, artis berbahan gelas, dan pernak-pernik lainnya bisa ditemukan di Quebec City. Rata-rata toko yang ada menawarkan suvenir deh pada dasarnya. Tak ketinggalan, tentunya banyak rumah makan, cafe, dan sejenisnya. Belum lagi pemain musik dijalan-jalan, pengamennya lebih tertata deh, dan bersih, boleh mengunjungi pengunjung yang sedang bersantap, jadi bisa juga dianggap sebagai kota yang cukup romantis, karena ada menyenandungi kita saat kita menikmati makanan dan minuman.
Nih daerah khusus tukang gambar, mereka ada daerah sendiri, ga di galeri gitu, beda dengan pelukis dll, tapi mereka selalu ada cafe tersendiri, jadi mirip pasar seni kalau di Indo kali yah?
Lumayan seru kalau mau jalan-jalan di Quebec City, disamping buat belanja, karena kota ini juga merupakan kota penuh sejarah (besok-besok aku unggah lagi cerita lainnya yak).

Was in Quebec City years ago it was snow season very beautiful would love to see it in summer time so i can eat some of them yummy looking chocolate cakes or biscuits in the first photo :)
What a fascinating place, those sweet treats look really tempting. The artificial grass and little characters sat on it are really fun - but what are all those pigs about?
Certainly a fascinating trip out, I really enjoyed travelling around Quebec with you.

I love Quebec City in the wintertime also, the streets lined with snow and the little shop plaques, but as you show them off, they are so European, I agree. That is exactly what I love about it! Those winding cobblestone streets and the artists block there. You really know how to make a girl smile!
