What a beautiful , market with lovely seasonal colors and so much to see that Mirror is nice but I have always liked those metal sun circle with the points of the compass
I remember growing up we didn't have a mercantile as such or it wasnt called that as such, but the country stores that had everything and everything in one place ;)

Thank you for supporting #MarketFriday and yes! The seasonal changes are really starting to show up and color my world. I do so love this place, it allows me to select things in the season as their palette changes with the seasons.
I didn't grow up with a mercantile, much like you a bodega or corner store is what I had become accustomed to. Once upon a time in America, the outposts in civilization were littered with Mercantile Stores, where one could buy everything.
Oh, the brain teasers gave me a run for its money! :) And it is always a pleasure to host the challenge!

Always my pleasure to visit your posts, that is a cool place and depending on what we get when we move, ( whenever that may be nothing finalized yet ) if we have space for some garden and plants I can see myself visiting a place like this each season as well
I dont know if the term Mercantile is only here or was around the world, I have sene it in movies set inthe past but also never seen one myself

I would say $15.00 for a burger is very expensive!!
Nice post!! Guess, what I had tonight for dinner, and no it was not carrots!!
I suspect you had Burgers, its been a while since I ad one, and for me that is a bit on the high side even for NYC but nowhere near the top end
I can remember going to the theater years ago and hamburgers in the theater district were more than that!
