Market Friday the MET a market for the mind

This is the one tag and daily challenge that I always make a point of joining, and also look through the posts of others that join the challenge and seeing markets from all around the world.
For this weeks post, I am sharing a market for the mind the MET Museum

The Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York City, known by most as "the Met", is the largest art museum in the United States. With almost 7 Million visitors to its three locations in 2018, and is the third most visited Museum inthe world

I have been into this museum and will visit it again soon, but for this post, I will focus on the exterior as I was there early mornings and it was not open at the time of this visit and shots.
As I hope these shots will show even though inside the museum is pretty impressive even the outside has some cool architectural features.

Forn this shot is may look like people are headingintot he Museum, but actually they were out gettign exercise and walking up and down the stairs.
The MET has in its permanent collection over two Million works and this building which is its main location is by area one of the worlds largest art galleries

I cannot remember, if I've ever seen a photo of the MET - this building looks really impressive and your photos show this very good.

I think, when I was last in a museum, it was with school ;) lol
We always wanted to visit some museums in Vienna with our kids, but there have always been other and more interesting things, when we were there.

Its been a long time since i went to a museum, but I do plan to try and visit some of them here in NYC before I finish working

I am trying to remember if this is the museum I visited when I was there. Like you said, there are so many of them in this area. I Just remember the line to get in was huge! That and they had an ancient Egypt display which was the main reason for us going.
A huge Lime is common for this one and the Museum of Natural history so it probably was one of those :)
