Market Friday, Mini Markets AKA Restaurants and shops

This is the one tag and daily challenge that I always make a point of joining, and also look through the posts of others that join the challenge and seeing markets from all around the world.
For this weeks post, I am going to share some shots of Mini markets around Midtown Manhattan by Mini markets I, of course, mean little shops LOL
Starting with this Plase for picking up all kinds of salads for lunch

It has an apt name Just Salad and will be a place I get lunch from when it warms up from as Looking at the menu they seem to have a good variety of options to choose, but they also have a cool idea as I show in the next shot, the reusable Bowl, I do like places that focus on being environmentally friendly and the idea of reusing a bowl rather than getting a plastic bowl that is thrown out after use is something I do like and will use.

Now in contrast a Dry Cleaners may not be so enviromentally friendly but I didn;t have other shots that tied intot hat theme and I thought it was a cute little drycleaners

And speaking of cute, how about this restaurant I came across, now perhaps the frontage isnt cute, perhaps sstylish would be a better word, but

it was this menu on display outside the restaurant that caught my eye and is why I took a shot of the restaurant itself, I seldom go to Restaurants in the city I am more a Quick visit to a deli or a salad person, but I still find the way they laid out their menu kind of cool

I love your tiny shops! With Real Estate at a premium, it is no wonder that the shops that pop up take size into consideration. This is where the motto Less is Best comes in.
I love the idea of the reusable salad bowls and nice that they give you incentive to do it. A small dry cleaner was really cute and was even called little dry cleaner! LOL
But honestly, Angeletto's - the name alone was sweet! and I loved the way they had their menu set up! This was really such a cute little post, JJ and I want to thank you so much for always finding such wonderful places to show off to us!

I am glad you said Less is Best and not more with Less which is a catch phrase at work which is starting to drive me nuts lOL
Starting soon I suspect I will be a regular visitor to the said place for lunch in a big part for there reusable bowl idea, unless of course it is too yuppy and overpriced for what you get, which will annoy me if there making an effort just for marketing reasons
I thought that was cool how they owned the fact that there Dry cleaners was a small place and used it in the name

Oh, in this world today, less is best, as we clean out closets and donate to Goodwill (or the kids)
I do hate when they take a good idea and corrupt it to line their pockets with. It is a pretty smart marketing ploy and I just hope that they are doing it with the environment in mind.

I will let you know for sure, I will for sure try it out at least once, and will see how that goes,
Yes I believe less is best, I am slowly cleaning out stuff here, and when they have the bulk pickup I will get ride of some of the big items, I want as little as possible when we move
I am not moving, but I clean closets every week, at least one and the garage in the spring and fall. I love things but, only if I can use them. If I cannot, I will donate them or something like that...
Thats the way I am as well, I am a minimalist, my Wife not so much so, its its more her collection I am working on LOL

The one thing I love about big cities is the variety of food options that are available to you. I don't think I could live in one, but it is always fun to visit and try something new each time.

I like how you make NYC seem normal. I never think of it that way, maybe because I've only been there once and the night I had was one to remember...if I could. They tell me I had a good time.
LOL I have had nights like that, I remember one night I partied a little to much ending up leaving a club in Lower Manhattan and for the life of me I could not find a subway station and walked all the way back to queens where i was living at the time, and it was winter and snowing and it was only when I got to walking over the 59th Street bridge did I realize it was snowing and I had forgotten my Jacket at the club, I am kind of glad those days are over for me
