MarketFriday – Mottled salt

Today is #MarketFriday!!! During our holiday in Bulgaria we saw in the shops such banks:
I thought it was a composition of colored sand for tourists. It turned out that this salt.
It's a salt khorena (mottled salt). And although each jar is a masterpiece of art, its purpose is not only this. This is a Bulgarian seasoning, consisting of a mixture of ground dried herbs and herbs with the addition of salt. Usually it includes savory, fenugreek, paprika, corn flour, but sometimes other ingredients are added. You can add it to all dishes; very delicious in meat.
We bought a simplified version because there was not enough room in our luggage.

This is such a different way to present salt, isn't it? I love that there is not only a wonderful look (for gifts) but a true purpose.
