Who doesn't love to see what they will be selling in my beloved German markets, or shopping in places I have never been to and some, never even heard of. There is always a curiosity attached to foreign ingredients, different produce or any product sold. So, yes! I would love to see yours! Well, my sister Tina and I are still cruising, but I wanted to bring #MarketFriday to you today. So sit back, relax and enjoy this wonderful Market from Willemstad, Curacao. Actually, it is-a-few different ones throughout the city.

Curacao is such a beautiful little Island and Willemstad is the capital. The city streets are lined with incredible Dutch Colonial architecture.

A short walk from the pier and we come across our first market. It has many trinkets straight from the Motherland. That would be Holland. There are wonderful hand carved houses, painted the colors of the town... all sorts of wonderful things. Let's take a walkabout.

The vendors were all very nice and when I asked if I could take pictures all very happy to oblige me. It makes it so much easier than sneaking around trying to take pictures of everything. There are so many things that I saw I'm taking home with me easily. The one thing that I did forget was 95% of the pictures were taken with my camera but not this phone. Sometimes I have to take what I can get when I am on vacation.

A stroll through this Market is a memorable experience. The port is a perfect place for Market with its bustling foot traffic.

My camera holds a picture of a huge cheese wheel and a pair of giant wooden shoes. you'll just have to hold those to your imagination until I can post the picture. Yes PS I did buy cheese. Who could resist?

He didn't even flinch. Maybe I should have tried it in Dutch.

We went to a distillery and tasted some delightful liquors. There was a chocolate one that I was just in love with. Have you ever tasted heaven? Yes. That would be it.

These are just some of the different liqueurs. I can't decide which one I love best and I couldn't afford to buy one of each. Let's just say that I gave them all a fair taste test.

They get an A+ from me.

Let's watch as they found it and pack it up to be exported.
