A Real Coffee

Friday is the day reserved for shopping. It has become a habit. Sometimes we still give up buying objects. We buy pleasure!

I live for a few months in a city called Iasi. A very beautiful city! Because I'm new to the city I'm trying to get to know the city, to discover it. Shopping is such a discovery. A very good breakthrough because I went to buy pleasure.

I'm looking for something characteristic of this city and I think the most well-known thing is that there are over one hundred churches in this city. In the vast majority historical monuments hundreds of years old.

Another aspect is artistic. The National Theater of Iasi and the National Opera Iasi are highly appreciated and all the shows take place with the closed house. A character hanging from the roof of the theater also reveals that the city's inhabitants have a lot of humor, they are cheerful people.

For some of us, all purchases can be made of pleasure. I do not buy with pleasure, I buy because it is needed.
Now, on this day, it's about pleasure. Because I'll just buy ... coffee!

One of the great pleasures is coffee. I drink coffee every day since I became mature. I drank all kinds of coffee. Many years ago when I was a kid ... of course I did not drink coffee but I remember my parents buying raw coffee and going home. I really enjoyed the smell of fried coffee. Then, in my youth, during the tough and full of communism, the coffee was of poor quality but we enjoyed a lot of every cup of coffee we could drink.

After having escaped communism, and Romania has begun capitalist development, we drank coffee from the supermarket, ground and packed but also of poor quality, as we will later discover.

In recent years, with the intense development of the coffee industry around the world, connoisseurs have emerged. Drinking coffee became as important as drinking noble wine. With professional coffee tasters and coffee makers. A real happiness. A lot of coffee shops appeared. At such a store, I go today to test a specific coffee.

It's called "coffee toast" and "coffee story". It's the place of pleasure and tasting of a coffee. Together with a fresh croissant taken out of the oven.

A wonderful place full of warmth and peace. When I start a day here, surely the whole day will be great. So I have to admit, today I was shopping, I only bought coffee! The place I just introduced is a special, subtle place, an aristocracy of coffee. That does not prevent me from remembering every day the pleasure of drinking coffee in the summer in an island in Greece. Less fast but the same quality coffee. I can not wait for the summer to come. I'm waiting to drink that morning's coffee again.
