Achievement 4 by @doppley Task : "Applying Markdowns"
Being a newbie to the Steemit platform, it's been a tad difficult to achieve certain text formats..
I discovered some basic html codes also seem to work fine on the Steemit platform but well...im not so saavy at codes. Thanks to @cryptokannon for the guide on applying markdowns and styles, I've been able to up my formatting game
In applying styles, the header/heading should be the first thing in consideration right?
Headlines
Headlines and sub-headlines are important elements as they show the structure of your post and guide the eye of the reader.
There are two ways to create a headline.
(a) You insert at the start of the row a # symbol. As the number of the hashtag symbol # increases, the headline size decreases.
OR
You can use basic html header tags h1-h6. Remember the lower the number/number of # the bigger the text format.
Here's a header tag 1 compared to header tag 6

links
Links can also be added to posts which is by default made clickable, links can also be replaced by an alternative text like I have done below (Link out to original post below).
There are also block quotes, tables, superscripts and many other which I can't explicitly write on as there are posts already written to taste on this and also to avoid plagiarism.
