Impressions from Mallorca - #06 - Cala Marmols
This beach ranks very high in my favourite destinations. Cala Marmols is located in the South East of Mallorca and is about 2 hours from the lighthouse in Ses Salines away. The most comfortable way to reach this beach is of course via boat.
It is a challenging hike, especially in the heat. However, the beach is worth the trip. The water is crystal clear - just as you would imagine paradise.
Remember to bring food and plenty of water.

Those are lovely photos, but such big files! I saved one of them to my harddisk, and it's great to be able to look closely at the detail, but the post takes a long time to fully display. I think you'd get more upvotes if you either uploaded smaller files to steemimg - @bendjmiller222 here https://steemit.com/photography/@bendjmiller222/quick-tip-shrinking-picture-file-sizes-for-faster-load-times has talked about this, or used the medium image embed code from steemimg. Some of the images have still not displayed! And that is a pity, because they are such good photos.

Thanks for your advice. I will consider to resize my pictures in the future. What do the other "steemers" think ?
Do you prefer high quality or speed ? Medium image sounds like a fair compromise to me.
The quality is just the same in the displayed size, as far as know, it's just that you can't zoom in to see detail. I've seen some people have a smaller image in the post, and then an additional link to the full HD below it.

Ah, ok, I missed this post :-)
Last year I was in Cala Mendia, and unfortunatly it was not possible to drive the small way down from the main street to the entrance gate of Cala Varques. With kids it's no fun to walk the 2km in the sun from the parking lots down to the beach.
Some years ago, in my previous visit, we could drive this moguls way. But this was not fun for driver and rented car :-)
Godd waor! You know, @mallorca, you are teaching me how to make such kind of posts ;-) I haven't done even one from those yet. But I have started to prepare. It is not the deal of one day, I understand. But I have already the PLAN OF SUCH posts ;-)
