Another new game for you to try!

As part of the #newbiegames initiative, and to support the great work by the #newbieresteemday team, I have put my thinking cap on to try and put a new twist into old games to see if I can come up with a simple and fun way for us to connect with each other and the Steemian community.

After such a wonderful response to last week's Steemit Bingo game (sorry for those who missed out) with 16 entries in all, I wanted to continue the theme but also try to use some information that I have available to make it engaging for the people taking part in the game. And because I have such a nice list of couples on Steemit;

I thought this might be a good place to start might be to make a matching game that involves a similar process to the last game we all played, but this time you get to have some of the fun as well :D

So I have 22 couples here (what a coincidence) which I have split into the two columns List A and List B:

How to Play

Create your Matches Card

Create a table that contains the list of the names from the List A column in the table above by filling it in the with names from List A in any order anyway you like (copy it if you prefer).

PLEASE DO NOT use the '@' symbol with the username otherwise @ginabot is probably going to go crazy!

If you prefer you can use the Markdown Tables Generator (http://www.tablesgenerator.com/markdown_tables) if you like something fancier.

Register your entry

Place a link of the post that has your match card in the comments section of this post before the cut-off period (which is when this post expires). In the mean time you can visit the people on your bingo card and drop them a nice comment on their post or chat to them on Discord, or maybe feel free to tell me about other couples that you know of in the comments section .

Please don't put your table in this post as the comments section would get too cluttered up!

Drawing of the names

When all the entries are in, I will create a post for the first game titled "NewbieGames Perfect Matches Game (#)" and will randomly draw a list of names from List B in my table and you will need to fill in the names in the order that they are drawn in your blank column. So the first name I draw will need to be paired with the first name of your card, and if they are a match (i.e. a couple) then you score one match.

For example, if the fifth name on your list is simba and the fifth name I draw is rainbowdash:

Then you have a match because they are a couple from the original table.

The person(s) who gets the most number of couples matches is the winner.

Prize (looking for sponsors or donations)

The winner(s) of the game will share in the SBD for the post and any additional donations or offers of prizes that I will gratefully accept. This will be transferred to their account and posted in the comments section to ensure transparency and fairness of the competition.

If you are one of the couples in this list and you win, the prize will be DOUBLED!

So if you and your partner both play and win my wallet is going to look very empty...
