Quintessential Rose.
The quintessential.
Flower of love and promise. ~Ally.
This is my first submission to the 'Sunday Scent Experience' which is the flower child of Judith, affectionately known as The Dutchess: @dutchess.
After the candle is blown out. ~Lewis Carroll.

'Quintessential Rose' was photographed from the same assemblage as 'Step into the Wonder' but at an earlier stage.
The beauty of a white rose reflects the purity of unconditional love. For me it represents the love of both Heavenly and Earth Mother.
While the fragrance of other roses can be quite distinctive, that of the white rose is far more subtle and delicate. If Heaven has a fragrance, it must surely be that of white roses.
Whilst arranging this piece: With feathers, stones and crystals, dried hydrangeas and the roses, I experienced the beauty, fragrance and divinity of the roses. The essence of which, I hope you can now feel too.
Seeing relationships develop in my assemblage work whilst being touched by nature's beauty, always evokes in me a sense that many magical moments are being granted.
Magical Moments:
Magical Moments is not a 'challenge' ~ My vision is that it will become more a 'Curated Gallery' where selected contributions will be Upvoted and Resteemed and in time awarded ~ In some as yet unknown way.

So lovely!
Such special roses to begin with Maya. Combined with the dried hydrangeas, in muted purple and olive, a lovely 'old worldly' look is created. So pleased you like it.
So I can see heart, but when you look from a different angle arrangement makes crown. Beautiful as always!
Thanks so much. So happy that you can see the heart Di. I hope it gave you such a wonderful magical moment.
Ally this is one gorgeous post! In all fascets: words, info, pic - just beautiful! Thank you for joining, this post is a compliment to the challenge. Upped and resteemed!
Was such a pleasure to present this image for 'Sunday Scent Experience' Judith ~ It makes me so happy now that you like all the different aspects of it. The arrangement comes first without any 'deeper' thoughts about what it represents ~ Except that I've been very drawn to working with roses and feathers in particular for the past few years now, as they have a personal significance to me.
Its so beautiful Ally, like you weave magic spels - the happy ones! I love your arrangements
Can relate. It's like the roses weave their magic all around me as I work with them. So pleased that an aspect of this energy can be transmitted in the photograph.
Has been inspiring for me to contribute to 'Sunday Scent Experience' Judith. I'll have to see what nudges me for next Sunday now too.
There is a whole week for that. This is exactly the reason i started this: if you are aware of #scent and what that does to you, your spirit lingers not only in your mind but starts to move through your body, because ALL EMOTION IS PHYSICAL. No exceptions. This way people come out of their heads and into their bodies. It will be easier to connect with emotions now - and when connected you can explore.....why? Since when? How? Once you do this you can let go of what no longer serves you - most of us carry around tons of energy that is related to unseen emotions.....this makes us heavy, deciseless (is that a word?) - without us even knowing that!

Very creative, original work ... thanks for posting!
Thanks so much @nzfxtrader.
I arrange flat-lays like this one from flowers, weeds and plants combined with other natural materials that I find in the bushland or surrounding urban streets. The photograph you see now was taken towards the completion of the piece ~ Just one of hundreds taken as it grew.
That's so neat... art with a full(er) sensory experience. Perhaps add some hershey's kisses and some violins? ;) Heavenly...
Love the suggestion of adding the violins in particular @kabbam. I love the idea of adding all sorts of sensory enhancements to an image, especially sound. There was a social media platform that enabled members to add music to their images. I loved it but for some reason the owner moved on to using the platform for only sharing gifs ~ Which can be brilliant but if not, I much prefer a static image with music.
So I found video making software that enabled me to do that. Made this one video with a friends music. Talking about it now has inspired me to share the video sometime.
A beautiful entry for the #SundayScentExperience!

Thanks so much Denise. Seeing an image of a rose, we can't help but be reminded of its truly unique fragrance.
