About this Frog!
This picture is of a Waxy Monkey Frog. The species secrets a special wax solution from its eyes. The frog then rubs the solution all over its body. This solution creates a seal that holds in moisture, enabling the frog to survive in hotter temperatures. The Waxy Monkey Frog is the most heat tolerant amphibian in the world.
