Purple Flowers
This is another one of my macro photography experiments. This is a macro of a purple flower. I have no idea what this is, hopefully @traciyork knows!
For this photo I used a 85 mm prime lens attached to a 49 mm extension tube. Focus is achieved by moving the whole camera close to the subject. There's a pretty shallow depth of field, so what you get is pretty much hit or miss. I actually do know what kind of flower this is (or at least I think I do, thanks to my Googling Superpower...lol)! I do believe this is a Verbena (specifically Lanai Blue Denim). Check out this link and see what you think -
