Eucalyptus Leaf Beetle
This is one of the many Eucalyptus Leaf Beetles from the family Chrysomelidae. I thought it may have been Paropsisterna lignea. However, it has since been pointed out to me that it is in fact P. intacta. The two species are both quite variable and have many similarities. Here is a link if you interested in seeing the differences between them ( Link ).
All of the photos were taken with a Canon 7D and Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro lens.
