📷 A Tiny Crab 📷 #macrophotography
It's hard for me to spot them and they quickly hide in their burrows on the beach. - But my cousin (and the autofocus) were quicker!
[Canon EOS 1300D, f/5.6, 1/320, 300mm, ISO200]
It took only one shot and it was released immediately.
What I learned while editing this photo:
I thought the tiny white speck protruding on its left eye was a photo artifact or worse, a grain of sand. To me, It felt like an eyesore and I was ready to use the clone stamp tool to get rid of it. - Until I realized it was actually part of the crab! There's one on its right eye too, though not as clearly captured. Anyway, I should be more careful in removing what appear to be blemishes in a photo or I might end up altering the subject's identity.
- I made the mistake of removing my wife's mole from her portrait before and she wasn't impressed. 😅

Sure. I will probably tackle that. I'm new to DSLR photography and as I learn the basics, I will keep sharing them in my daily posts. Thanks!

Nice picture! Wait for me till I get my own camera.LOL
I'm sure you can make it. It's that burning desire which made me splurge on a camera. After maximizing the use of an entry-level model, you might also crave for better lenses or even a full-frame DSLR. Who knows? 😄
very cute and nice shots....:)
