Found these fresh ixora blooms one morning. The ixora plants are usually used as hedges to line roads and walk paths.
These blooms I shot are a bright pinkish red while some are orange and even yellow!
If you take a closer look at them, they are not just tiny flowers making up a bunch but their stamens also look like little flowers.

Zooming in close, you may notice the buds actually resemble tightly closed tulips! I like this mix when there are some open flowers and some still in their tulip-form. All these make up the bunch which is about 3-4 inches across. These blooms must be very sweet as there were lots of lil bees buzzing around (You can actually see one, or two, behind the buds... They seem to be very shy!)
Upon zoom out, you can see the hedge top looking like this with bunches spread all over. The flowers add nice splashes of colour to ordinary hedges!
