Milk Cream - How to do that??
I have seen my mom to take of cream from the milk and stored in different bowl. I belive many mother do that across the world.
Cream is nothing but just the thick layer formed on the top of milk after boiling it for long.
"Cream is a dairy product composed of the higher-butterfat layer skimmed from the top of milk before homogenization. In un-homogenized milk, the fat, which is less dense, will eventually rise to the top. In the industrial production of cream, this process is accelerated by using centrifuges called "separators". - Wikipedia
Luckily last week I happen to be in a Milk Dairy to meet someone, and get a chance to see the entire process.
In one corner of the store some cup shaped steel utensils were kept in minarets form,
I curuiosly asked the owner " Tau ye k hai" ( uncle what is this)...😉 trying to be bit hariyanvi the local languages spoken among most dairy owner...although I am not so good in that.
Well the own ser said these are used for Cream making, but so many of them??? My curiosity started to know the whole process. Finally my dear "Tau" agreeed to show me the machine set up or the entire process.
He brought up a jack shape motor tool from his table. The motor machine have copper on it.
Tau, started assembling all of the steel bowl shaped utensils and putting them one over the another. I counted each of them and it was total 40. He started to put them on the motor.
After putting all the steel cups, Tau screwed and bolted the motor from top tightly. The motor now get a new look.
He took the motor into a machine. The main iron machine which is very instrumental in cream making. The machine in another corner of the store
Tau fixes the motor with the machine and placed it in a spefied place. He double checked before placing that the cup shaped bowl were properly tight
Once he fixes the motor , he broght a bigger bowl and placed on top of the machine.the bowl is really big. Looking at it i understood it was for storing milk.
He covered the bigger utensil with a thin cloth, firstly i thought why Tau is covering an empty utensils and asked him thankful to him he never denied me with answer
But he did that with a purpose. He said that cloth has two benefits. Firstly that bigger utensil will be filled with raw milk. And the cloth will help in filtering out a bit as milk was kept in open
Secondlly, on pouring the milk on to it and during boiling nothing get into the bowl as it helps in covering the boiling milk.
After pouring the entire continer of milk onto the bowl in the machine. Tau switch on the electricity button to start the machine. The machine is just help in getting the milk boiling and the cream part filter out through the motor which was assembled earlier.
That was something interesting i saw in a while. Although did not saw the final product as it took some more time and i was running out of time 😉. Still the entire steps i saw which help in makin cream.👌
