Project loveletters #14 – Her letter

Noordwijkerhout, the 12th of January 1979

Dear Jésus

First of all I wish you a happy new year. First I was afraid you did not receive my letter, because you only send me a postcard. (I like that postcard very much).

It’s alright with me I want to tell you something about ourselfs. My sister Yvonne (20 years old) is going to marry the 17th of January. I don’t like that very much. Because then she lives somewhere else. She is going to live in Noordwijk. It is near Noordwijkerhout. She is the first who is going to marry at our family. Yvon is also working at the same office I do. It’s getting much better at my work. I have many things to do there. Much more than my other work. Only the boss is more strictly than my first boss. Once I telefhoned someone. The boss had seen that. Then he told me, I must not do that very often. So I dare not to call someone anymore. With the other boss I could telephone as much as I like.

I like to telephone you sometime when it is nessesary, but you know, it’s expensive. My telephone number is: 32523-2723. The number is from Noordwijkerhout (02523) and the number of our telephone (2723). The number of my county I don’t know.

The distance Madrid-Barcelona is very long, how do you go there, I wonder. I never paid attention to it. When are you in Barcelona, always in the weekend or sometimes? How do you go there?

I know where to go in my summer holidays. Thanks for the books you gave me. It was very nice of you, you send me them.

My father, mother, brother Paul, my girl-friend and myself are going (Not Lyda, she goes somewhere else) We go the 21th of July until the 4th of August. Only two weeks, because last year we had three weeks, but that was too long. We now go by airoplane, not by car. Last year we stayed in a hotel, now in Appertementos. It is called: Appartamentos Nucleo Cristal, Costa del Sol. If you want to, I want to give you the address of that appartementos. (Maybe it is too far for you).

I send you a map of Holland. I hope you like it. It’s not so good.
