Today I am talking to the wives about what they need to do to keep their husbands happy. If you missed the previous posts in this series of sex in the marriage please see the links at the end of this post.
We already established that sex in the marriage is very important and to keep your husband happy have a lot to do with how satisfactory your sex life is. We all know that wives have hectic live's and must look after everyone's needs. In this busy schedule, you have to make time and preserve some energy to give to your spouse, if you want a marriage that will last.
You have to be available and willing to have sex with your husband regularly. I am sure in the beginning of your marriage you had sex frequently. It is reasonable for your husband to expect regular sex from you, at the least 2 to 3 times a week. If there are things that he does to put you off sex or he doesn't do his part in the house, then you have to sit down with him and communicate this. Don't use sex as a weapon and withhold sex as a way to punish your husband. This will only backfire in the long run. Rather use your sex appeal wisely to enrich your marriage.
Your husband needs for sex is not only about his physical need but he also has an emotional need for sex.
He needs to see that you also desire to be with him sexually. This means that you should also initiate sex and not just wait for him to initiate it. At times like this to make it special by putting on your special lingerie and to seduce him. There is a time and a place for a "quickie" but mostly your husband wants to make love to you and wants sex to be a deeper expression of your love for each other.
He wants to know that he can please you sexually. Don't fake an orgasm, rather be honest and tell your husband that you struggle to have an orgasm. You need to know your body and what gives you pleasure. Communicate with him and guide him what you need him to do. Most husbands would be happy to do this if they know it will help their wives to have a pleasurable sex life. If all fails please seek medical and psychological help. This is an issue that needs to be sorted out as it will be an ongoing issue and is not something that will go away. It will just lead to bigger problems in your marriage that can end up in divorce.
To conclude, sex is a beautiful gift that was given to a husband and a wife by God, not only to produce children but to enjoy. Your body is there for the sexual enjoyment of your husband. He is totally dependent on your willingness to grant him this enjoyment. Be generous and you will always have a happy husband at your side and not only that, he will move mountains to also keep you happy.
