Feeling Alienated From Others
Loneliness is feeling alienated from the group, unloved by those around you, unable to share personal worries, different and separate from those around you. Feeling lonely can be normal, and only an indicator of illness when feelings become overwhelming, draining of energy and thought, and interfering with daily life. Lonely people feel sad and unhappy because they are socially isolated, tend to feel they are not liked, are considered egocentric, and lack empathy from others. Those things that make people lonely then keep their distance. Like a vicious circle, these negative thoughts keep recurring throughout the mind.
