I have written a post about how to apply minimalism to logo design, and I feel like this is a good area for me to continue to explore.
This topic is fun for me, because it starts with discovery. I get the opportunity to learn about new artists, review their works, and then condense that knowledge into an icon with the pleasure of sharing how to repeat the process.
Instead of grabbing artists from the web, I will stick to art posted here on Steemit. If you don't see your art and you are an artist, please comment with a link to your account so I can check you out.

All of these logos are so simple and minimalistic.
It really goes to show you don't need to do anything fancy to have an outstanding logo.

I submitted an entry called the abacus whale.
Very cool, I like even more that this was the illustration that I rejected for my story and yet you have made it into something beautiful.
I thought I saw that beautiful tattered leaf in your snail works after this initial post?
I made a few changes to the final one. They do look very similar!
