Kayumanggi Ang Kulay Ko

Oh, anong kulay aking nakikita,
Nakakapukaw sa aking mga mata,
Pantay-pantay at walang pagkakaiba,
Sa tabing dagat pala nakatira.

Oh, anong kulay aking nakikita,
Lumalabas ang angkin ganda,
Tumitingkad sa ilalim ng araw,
At nagbibigay giliw.

Oh, anong kulay aking nakikita,
Umaliwalas ng bahagya,
Ano kaya ang ginawa?
At biglang may naiba.

Oh, anong kulay aking nakikita,
Kahit saan man magpunta,
Bumabalik pa rin sa dating ganda,
Dahil ito'y likas na maganda.

Oh, anong kulay aking binabanggit,
Na gustong paputiin ng pilit,
Kahit anu-ano ang ginagamit,
Para ang nais ay makamit.

Oh, anong kulay aking binabanggit,
Na akala ko noon ay pangit,
Sa mga banyaga ito'y kaakit-akit,
Ninanais masilayan kahit isang saglit.

Oh, anong kulay meron ako,
Eto ang pagkakakilanlan ng mga Pilipino,
Dahil ako ay Pilipino,
Kayumanggi ang kulay ko.

Ang Kayumangging kulay ko,
Ipagmamalaki ko sa buong mundo,
Dahil ako ay Pilipino,
Taas noo kahit kanino.

Hanggang dito na lamang po mga kababayan. Nawa'y nagustuhan niyo ang aking nailathala. Maraming-maraming salamat po sa lahat.
