I would like to start with something hilarious. I heard of a man that was walking on the beach. God said son you’ve been so faithful am going to grant you one special wish. He was so excited he said God have always wanted to go to Hawaii but am afraid to fly. So my wish is that you build me a bridge across the ocean. God said son that is totally impossible; think of the logistics of that and take sometime and wish again. He said okay God , have been married four times and my ex-wives said am so insensitive so my wish is that I would be able to understand a woman. I want to know why they think like they think and why they feel like they feel. There was a long pause and God said: do you want two lanes or four lanes on that bridge?

“Your words become your reality”. You are where you are today because of what you have been saying about yourself. Words are like seeds, when you speak something out you give life to what you are saying. If you continue to say it, eventually that can become a reality whether you realize it or not you are prophesying your future. This is great when we are saying things like am blessed, am strong, I will accomplish my dream, am coming out of debt. That’s not just being positive, you are prophesying victory, success and new levels. Your life will move in the direction of your words. But too many people go around prophesying just the opposite. They say things like am so broke, poor and unsuccessful. The scriptures says “we will eat the fruit of our words”. You are planting seeds whenever you talk and at some point you are going to eat that fruit. My challenge for you today is make sure you are planting the right kind of seeds. If you want apple, you have to sow apple seeds. What you sow is what you reap. In order words you can’t talk negative and expect to live a positive life. You can’t talk defeat and expect to have victory. You can’t talk lack, can’t afford it and expect to have abundance. If you have a poor mouth, you are going to have a poor life. If you don’t like what you are seeing, start sowing some different seeds. Because “ with our tongue we can bless or curse our life”. The holy book said: we are snared by the words of our mouth”. Negative thoughts will come to you a times but be smart enough not to speak them out. A thought will die still born if you don’t speak it. When you continue talking about the problem it doesn’t only make you more discourage it gives the problem life thereby making it bigger. In life there are always two voices vying for your attention and that is the voice of faith and that of defeat. Write down your goals, write what you want to see happen in your life or any area you are struggling in and you need to improve write it down like it already done and everyday declare that decree. Read over it a couple of times out loud. Is not enough to just think it, something happens when verbalize and speak it out.
