Restoring Garden Tractor & Homestead Lawn & Garden Day
I got this old Snapper riding lawn mower for $20 and am getting it fixed up. We are on an off grid homestead of 18 acres and trying to become self sufficient and fully off the grid on a budget.
The only thing still fully on the grid right now is our water pump which is 240 volts. I hope to eliminate even that by using rain water collection and 12 volt DC water pumps soon.
I am sharing all of our videos since we moved to our new homestead in Michigan this spring, to the present. When I am caught up, I will continue to share our daily videos and articles as they occur.
Today I want to share two of our videos with you.
This was right after Memorial weekend. We spent quality time with our family.
In the next video I had to mow our entire lawn with a self propelled push mower. It is a HUGE lawn.
I am working on my old Snapper riding mower to help get the job done easier in the future.

The moving truck we ordered was supposed to have a lift gate. The one we ended up with did not. It had a walk up ramp. The Snapper was the only one that would fit up that narrow ramp. But you know that since its all in the videos.

While this mower was on end for 6 weeks, Troy took advantage of his good natured neighbor to mow his sizeable property twice. Troy takes advantage of all around him. Take, take, take and he never does or gives anything back. Same neighbor has hauled and loaded mulch and many other items for him. Troy does nothing in return. Do you ever watch your own videos Troy? This one is 95% you gasbagging and pointing at stuff, with zero footage of you doing anything. That’s why so many subscribers just give up watching your videos. There is a channel called Primitive Technology where he makes very interesting and entertaining videos of himself making things and doing stuff. He doesn’t even say a word in his videos, but he gets millions of views. You are the opposite of him. You still haven’t demonstrated how the trailer and cabin are connected to solar.
