Hello friends,

I live in Kolkata (India) and we have stray animals in our country roaming around and a lot of injustice is done to these animals by the insensitive people.Sometimes they fight among themselves and get injuries in certain places where they can't lick thus those places become infected with #maggots over time which causes extreme pain and suffering and leads to death if not treated in time.
I have seen these incidents many a times and treated 3 dogs and never expected they would survive.Injured stray cats are almost impossible to catch but i have a number of pet cats whom we treated properly with the help of a #Vet so this post is about dogs only.

Please note if its your pet dog then do consult a #Vet.You can only apply this to a stray dog since its not always possible / impossible to take them to a clinic and if not treated it will anyway die.

In this case we can see an injured dog and the wound smells horribly bad.
Oral medications does not work alone and medicines needed to be applied on the wounds as well.But as discussed its a stray dog so its very difficult to catch every time on a regular basis. It can sense and will run away once its aware of the medicine smell.

So what you have to do is find a way to spray the medicine.In our #Vet medical stores we have a medicine called Hi Tek that is meant for injection in the animal's body.But its not possible to catch them, you have to gain trust by feeding them regularly so that you can go close to them and touch them.

The only way left is to spray the medicine with the help of a syringe by removing the needle. I did it and it was successful ,weekly you can spray once and continue any oral medication (you can ask a local medical store or a #Vet) 2 sprays were enough in my cases.

These pictures were taken in some intervals. Its a long process.It was a success finally. For the other 2 dogs i did not record the progress.
I am not a #Vet so the post is based on my experience of success thus sharing it with you I don't want to spread wrong information since this is not my field of expertise.
