Internship position- Get!!!

I was EXTREMELY excited to receive their call saying that I'm hired!!!! LOLLL!!! Thank all people who wished me good luck😊 You are soo nice 😭
So today is my FIRST day at work!! Haha I'm so excited that I arrived at the office 20 minutes earlier and as you can see, the door was still closed LOL...
So I grabbed this opportunity to take a photo in front of the office :) It marks the start of my "new life" as a mature person (ok I'm not) who is able to contribute to the society by doing such a meaningful job in a responsible company which advocates equal opportunities and environmental protection <3
But there's one thing...I discovered that I'm the only one who didn't wear makeup...someone said that it's "more polite" to wear makeup to work but I'm gonna disagree... Respect people by saying THANK YOU, not just by how you look :) Could somebody tell me is it a Hong King thing or a global thing? Nvm, girls, rmb to be confident and be no one but yourself, coz you are the best when you feel like you:)
I'll work hard and learn hard :)

Congratulations! Working experiences is as important as your acadermic results. It's good that you got this internship. Try to learn as much as you can.
Be more proactive, ask for work instead of wait for assignment. Many ppl would not like to give actual work to interns, in fact, I remember once I had an intent for one summer, and I only give her something not meaningful to do. So remember to be proactive and ask for work that can give you real experiences.

Ohhh @guyverckw thanks SO much for reminding me!!! I thought internship is more about finishing the assigned work with high quality but now I realise it is much more than that! :) yaaa you're right, if I don't grab the opportunities by myself, no one's gonna help me learn... :) haha thanks again for your help:) I'll learn as much as I can!!
Oh Susan! Congratulations to you to get a internship! I remember when I was my first day of my job, I have also arrived 30 mins earlier! But I was lucky as the office had already opened for some reason. I can enjoy the air-conditioning insides. It is very great.
Hope you can learn a lot from your internship!

CONGRATULATIONS, how was your first day work?
Thanksss:) it was nice! We had some briefing conducted by the boss and a senior manager and then went to lunch ;p after that we did some cold calls haha! I've done cold calling so find it interesting yet challenging hehe:) and then we signed the contract. Thanks for asking and cheers!
As I learned in the Marines and which has helped me a lot in life, when it comes to your profession, 5 minutes early is 10 minutes late. Congrats on the hire, now it is your time to show everyone what you are made of.
