Everything Is A Decision

There is one thing we can control and that is what is within.

Everything you do is a decision

That decision may be driven by:

• Circumstance
• Basic necessity of survival
• Addiction
• Depression
• Anger
• Frustration

In the end a decision is still being made, every action you take in every moment of your life is a decision.

That statement is not meant to sound like a burden weighing you down.

That statement is meant to free you.

Every decision you make gives you the chance to make another decision or a different decision before you act.

For example - You may want to eat the doughnut, but you know it’s unhealthy and that you don’t need it. You say ah fuck it and grab for it. It’s not too late at that point. You can still decide that decision isn’t the right decision. It's not the decision that you want for yourself. You can decide that decision was dumb and put the doughnut back down.

The biggest thing in regard to decisions is being AWARE of them. Once you realize just about everything you do comes down to a decision made in your mind then you become self aware. You start to recognize when you are making a decision that goes against what you truly want.

You have an epiphany in that moment and then ask, wait. What the hell am I doing?
