Well its true some what!! Myslef being a googler for 2 years!!! Having said that, there is another aspect to this story . We get to work on a project which could be years in the making and may get stuck there for 5 or 10 years. With that kind of time comes an experience where u can support the software product with new features or bug fixes rather quickly . A fresh face might take days but the "10x" would do in few hrs!!!..
Its better to work on different things and move on quickly especially in software . I dont think the taboo attached to frequent job hopper is applicable in software world!!! But it all depends on your priorities!!!
