Maybe it is useful for some people to lose weight if you do not have dinner in the night. But I do not recommend it. Because there are three main kinds of nutrition, which is protein, fat, and carbohydrate. 1g fat can product about 9 kilocalories of energy and 1g of protein and carbohydrate can produce about 4 kilocalories of energy. Maybe little rice can reduce fewer carbohydrates, and you can have less energy. But more vegetables will let you have more fat and more energy. So, you can not reach the purpose to lose weight. But, will lead to the unbalance of nutrition and it is not good for your body.

Reasonable diet and sports are the best methods to lose weight:
Reasonable diet-

  1. Control the number of calories, according to the degree of fat. If you had 500—1000 calories than usual, such as 500 calories every day- then, you can lose 0.5kg in 7 days. But, what you should pay attention is that as an adult, you can not have calories less than 1200 kilocalorie, or, you can not have enough nutrition.

  2. Make sure the balance of nutrition, arrange your own diet in the limit of calorie. Protein mainly comes from slim meat, fish, eggs. It is the best for you to eat less than 40g and have more than 500g calorie.
