Routine and the Master

The Master is extraordinary because of the practice and discipline involved in caring for the ordinary things on a daily basis. The Master is a care-taker of self-responsibility. It is in creating routines for yourself that become your rituals and practice as the ways in which you honor and cultivate your best body support.

Using the Osho-Zen-Tarot Deck, I asked the following question:

How can I expand upon my regard and reflection for the practical living of routine. I recognize that having basic routines is a cool point of structured stability for overall wellbeing - how can i expand upon the point of routine?

THE MASTER

Extraordinary is a result of awareness that emerges and develops within the ordinary. It's being in tune with the participations here as your self-movements.

Know thy Self.

  • How well do you know yourself within sweeping the floor?
  • How well do you know the intricacies of your movements within walking?
  • How about pushups? The various body parts moving in sequence and union to perform the task.
  • What about cleaning the floors?
  • How about scrubbing the windows?
  • Cooking?

By gifting yourself with daily routines - this can encompass a whole array of possibillities:

  • morning exercise
  • morning reading
  • morning walk
  • morning journalling
  • morning shower
  • morning stretch
  • morning breakfast and chat.
  • morning dinner prep.
  • morning meetings
  • morning tea.

Point here is that there's a whole bunch of things that we are able to create rituals with as the habbits we integrate into our day to day living to provide added support to our overall well being. It's in exercising the responsibility to gift ourselves with small add-ons of responsibility to that compliment our effectiveness in our day to day living.

Play with structuring routines of support to enhance the best living of your day. Today is always the best day of your life. The next best day is tomorrow - but when it gets here it will always be called today. Today is always the best day of your life - might as well make the most of it. You're the Best.

Your're Best Living comes from exercising your routines as how you express your best care taking.

Some Words from Osho:

there is an awareness that is intrinsic, that is not given to you by the outside, and is not an idea -- and there is no experiment up to now that has found any center in the brain which corresponds to awareness. The whole work of meditation is to make you aware of all that is "mind" and disidentify yourself from it. That very separation is the greatest revolution that can happen to man.

Now you can do and act on only that which makes you more joyous, fulfills you, gives you contentment, makes your life a work of art, a beauty. But this is possible only if the master in you is awake. Right now the master is fast asleep. And the mind, the servant, is playing the role of master. And the servant is created by the outside world, it follows the outside world and its laws.

Once your awareness becomes a flame, it burns up the whole slavery that the mind has created. There is no blissfulness more precious than freedom, than being a master of your own destiny.
