John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends"
Happy Veterans Day! ~ Honoring Our Veterans on Veteran Day.
Honoring Our Veterans on Veteran Day, a day to say thank you to all who have fought for the freedom of this great country. It is a day to give back, to those who gave so much. It is a day to remember that freedom is not free. To all our veterans, we say thank you for your gift to our country. To those who paid the ultimate price, we say thank you for giving so much the price was too much. You are the true heroes of this country.
To your families we also say thank you. Thank you to the mothers and fathers who raised their sons and daughters to serve. To each grieving parent we say thank you!
Veteran s Day originated on November 11, 1919 as Armistice Day. Originally, it was to commemorate the end of World War I. Armistice Day became a yearly observance in 1926. Veteran s Day became a national holiday in 1938. It was still called Armistice Day at this point. The name of the holiday was changed from Armistice Day to Veteran s Day on June 1, 1954.

how about this one?
The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. EXO 14:14
or this?
“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;” Matt 5:44 ... and plenty plenty more that advocate for peace rather than violence.
putting on a costume and carrying out the orders of criminals in Washington doesn't make you a hero. Please don't try and pretend it's Christiantly either.
I doubt that Jesus condones the worshiping of warmongers/murderers in costumes.
Some of my own family have been foolish enough to serve, unfortunately they learned first hand the mistakes they would reap.
is it also interesting that cops/military have the highest rates of domestic abuse (and suicide) in the nation compared to other occupations? .... wonder why that is.

Thank you @pilgrimtraveler - lest we forget. I even had one friend in Australia asked why they were wearing a pro-war emblem ... it was a poppy! People are beginning to forget the price of "free"dom and the truth behind who picked up the tab.
Amen to that @ebryans Freedom isn't free, it comes with a high cost!
Amen, thanks for sharing...
Blessings.
Amen, thank you kindly @majes :))
