SWAPPING LIGHTS OUT WITH @FREEDOMPOINT
A very handy man indeed!
Wanting to be of as much assistance as he possibly could, @freedompoint kept asking for tasks to tackle while they were visiting. This one may have been the last thing accomplished prior to their departure, but it was another very useful and helpful one.
THE YETI SHINING SOME LIGHT ON THE HOMESTEAD
So, the lights that this place with were old and broken. They had no tops on them any more and would even collect water periodically. Not exactly an ideal situation, but there was hope.
After a brief evaluation from @freedompoint, it was time for some "out with the old, in with the new." Well, newer at least, since the man we bought our mobile home from also sent a few extra lights with it, so we could change them out and have some nicer looking ones that would function.
Since I had not tackled the light swap project yet, it was still on the to do list when @freedompoint and @freedomtowrite showed up. To learn more about things like this, the Yeti showed me how to change the first one and then watched me through changing the second one, so I could learn.
As you can tell, @mama-pepper was very excited about the upgrade. Between the decks being put on and now some outdoor lights, things are a lot better around here thanks to our friends coming over to visit!

Woohoo! What a great accomplishment :-) It's the small stuff! And, motivating good friends make all the difference too. What a fun memory to have each time you switch your lights on or change a bulb, to recall these fine bonding moments with friends. I can understand Mama-Pepper's excitement! It's all coming together! Isn't is great to put another check mark on that "to do" List?!!
Right! We will always be able to remember them when we flip our switches! The problem is that every time I cross something off of the list, I add a couple more!
