The authorities have voiced how they plan to identify the mining of crypto currency

The Ministry of Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation voiced intentions to allow the citizens of the country to mine the crypto currency. But at the same time they plan to control this process.

The ministry plans to detect the miners by means of a special detection system. Electricity quotas and special tariffs for miners are being developed. Based on the results of energy consumption, an approximate volume of the crypto currency will be calculated and compared with the data of the exchange, where the miner is located. The latter will be calculated from the data on the Internet traffic in the case even if the data is encrypted.

It is assumed that for the first two years nothing will be necessary to pay, after a kind of tax holidays, the miners will be asked to maintain accounting records with subsequent payment of income tax. VAT for this type of activity is not provided. All these measures concern only legal entities that individuals will pay and will pay at all, like private miners, until such information is available.

All this in the form of a general concept is finalized until February 1, 2018 and will be submitted to the government for consideration.

According to experts in this field, the energy consumption of miners will always be the same. Thus, the authorities will draw a conclusion about the type of activity. It is possible, of course, to calculate the miner by analyzing the traffic of Internet service consumption, but as already mentioned, given the wide range of data encryption capabilities, this method will be more expensive, but not hopeless.

This is still the concept of the way of relation to mining and crypto-currency, and, given the difficulties in detecting and deciphering traffic and sources of energy consumption, the option of simple legalization of mining crypto currency is always open. In Belarus, for example, mining is simply legalized, while the cost of electricity there is higher. The right to move on the side of the state is WAITING!
