When Life doesn't matter- A dying mother

No one should tell you that we are really fucked on planet earth.

Maybe Elon Musk's space project will benefit people but definitely not the poor and the lower class who could never afford a round trip to a partially-inhabitable planet. Because this one is already jinxed with millions of gallons of innocent bloods and the cryings of the dead from the depth of the soil.

On a dump site, lays a dying mother on a makeshift drip been held by the son, hoping this saves his mama's life for yet another hour or day.

Fictional Analogy

Wherever the content of the drip came from, it is obvious that the mother and child were driven away from a clinic and it's as a result of a messed up Planet where basic healthcare is non-accessible because the Government of many countries would prefer to by Nukes than cater for health of an average citizen.

The woman looks lifeless even with or without the boy knowing, busy looking at the camera, maybe there was a glimpse of hope or help from the photographer, who knows.

Our life's don't matter anymore once the breath of life is gone out of a body, yet some people would rather spend on the things that will go on auction at ridiculous prices once they die, rather than give to the needy or help foster a better healthcare system in their environments.

Easier said than done huh?

Remember this, where would your wealth go once you are gone?

You and I can make a change, except you could afford Elon Musk's fare for an inter-planet flight!

Sort:

I was caught off guard by the stark unfairness of the human existence that I made a google search of the internet to find the photographer. I am happy to say the photographer is Peter Turnley, you may want to credit him in the article, a famous photographer whose work has featured in Newsweek and other notable publications. He runs a website at http://www.peterturnley.com/

This photograph can be found here on the website and was shot in Rwanda in 1994 during the Rwandan genocide that caused up to a million deaths within 90 days.

Yes yes I know him, the picture resounds more than Just Rwanda but the whole of Africa and most developing Nations. Thanks for the meticulous information and referencing buddie.

Awesome work :)
