I was caught off guard by the stark unfairness of the human existence that I made a google search of the internet to find the photographer. I am happy to say the photographer is Peter Turnley, you may want to credit him in the article, a famous photographer whose work has featured in Newsweek and other notable publications. He runs a website at http://www.peterturnley.com/
This photograph can be found here on the website and was shot in Rwanda in 1994 during the Rwandan genocide that caused up to a million deaths within 90 days.

Yes yes I know him, the picture resounds more than Just Rwanda but the whole of Africa and most developing Nations. Thanks for the meticulous information and referencing buddie.
